Cox Communications’ Kia Painter Joins
C2HR Board of Directors

NAPERVILLE, ILL., July 13, 2021 —Kia Painter, senior vice president of business partnerships at Cox Communications, has been appointed to the board of directors for the Content & Connectivity Human Resources (C2HR) association. Painter brings 23 years of human resources experience to the leadership role including expertise in inclusion, diversity and equity, compensation, succession planning, talent management, organizational design and leadership development. Painter has been with Cox Communications for 23 years.

“Given her dynamic background, we’re excited about the insight that Kia Painter will bring to our organization, and we welcome her to the C2HR board of directors,” said Pamela Williams, CAE, executive director for C2HR.
Painter holds an MBA from Tulane University, a master’s in human resources development from George Washington University and she earned her undergraduate degree in management from James Madison University. She has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations.
