It’s unusual for a human resources association to dedicate itself to a specific industry, but the technology, media and entertainment industry is unlike any other! We support 2.9 million jobs across 800 different job titles, from coders and programmers to on-air talent, key grips, writers, marketers, customer service reps and more. Given the vast scope of our workforce, and the fast-paced, innovative environment in which we operate, our organization’s founders recognized the unique challenges and opportunities faced by industry employers. In 1993 a group of pioneering HR leaders created the Cable and Telecommunications Human Resources Association (CTHRA).

While much has changed over the past 25 years (including our name: we became Content & Connectivity Human Resources or C2HR in 2019), our association’s steadfast commitment to providing an industry-specific forum and resources for our members has not wavered.
