Since 2002, our Annual Compensation Surveys have provided timely, industry-specific compensation benchmarks and analysis.

“C2HR’s Annual Compensation Surveys uncover market pressures and valuable metrics that participating employers can use to ensure competitive compensation strategies,” said Pamela Williams, CAE, C2HR’s Executive Director.

There were 59 participants in the 2018 surveys representing more than 200,000 employees.  The participant companies in the report represent the majority of industry employers including the largest MSOs, all five national broadcast networks, all 20 of the most watched national cable networks, as well as companies who create content for internet channels, regional cable and telecommunications operators and home security companies. For additional information or to participate in a 2019 survey, please contact Laurie Krashanoff or 415.485.5521.

Methodology

The Croner Company, a leading compensation consulting firm, develops the surveys and collects and analyzes the data, separating results into two participant categories: distributors (MSO, satellite, telecommunications and home security companies) and programmers (cable programmers, broadcast networks and digital content creators). Given the highly confidential survey data, the results from any given company cannot be seen. Only summary information pertaining to all participants is available. This reporting approach complies with Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regulation and encourages participation without fear of exposing proprietary information to the public.
