These initiatives, some of which have garnered awards, are now being expanded across the entire Walt Disney Company, ESPN's parent organization. Falcon's outstanding work in this capacity earned her a place on Human Resource Executive's 2024 HR's Rising Stars list. She was presented with this prestigious award, one of five recipients this year, at the Elevate People, Ignite Change (EPIC) conference in Las Vegas. Congratulations, Dayana!

Since 2003, the PAR Initiative has been the key research endeavor to recruit, retain and advance women in media, entertainment and technology. To commemorate the 20th anniversary, The WICT Network created a special Platinum recognition for six companies that have most consistently ranked a “top company for women to work” over the 20 years of deploying PAR. These companies, all C2HR members, were honored at the 2024 Signature Luncheon in April: Comcast, Cox Communications, Midco, NBCUniversal, The Walt Disney Company and Warner Bros. Discovery. In accepting the award on behalf of Cox Communications, C2HR President and Cox Communications’ EVP & Chief People Officer Kia Painter said, “Let us each have the audacity to challenge outdated norms and carve out spaces where you can flourish. And in doing so, we must also champion access to resources for work-life management, understanding that our work extends beyond the confines of an office or screen.”
Every year, the Cablefax 100 honors exceptional leaders driving innovation in the media and broadband industry. Kudos to the 2024 honorees from the C2HR member community: Megan Masoner Detz from Cable One, Italia Commisso Weinand of Mediacom, Kia Painter of Cox Communications, Adria Alpert Romm (retired) of Warner Bros. Discovery and Dalila Wilson-Scott of Comcast.
