Christine Calandros Earns 2020 Aspiring HR Leader Award
The
2020 Aspiring HR Leader is Christine
Calandros,
senior director of sales and marketing recruitment for
Charter Communications. The Aspiring HR Leader award honors
an emerging human resources (HR) professional whose fresh
perspective, inventive ideas and innovative strategies
have positively impacted an organization.
Calandros
is a proactive, innovative leader who pushes the envelope
and looks for creative ways to deliver results. She is
responsible for leading multiple pilots including Text
Recruit, Indeed Hiring Events, HireVue Assessments and
Brazen Virtual Job Fairs —all of which proved successful
and have been scaled for use by the rest of the organization.
Calandros was also the architect of the national Spectrum
Hiring Day, an extremely successful recruiting event that
encompassed Charter’s 41-state footprint and resulted
in over 500 hires.
Calandros
leads with vision, empathy and support which has earned
the respect of her team of over 80 recruiters and led
them to achieve unprecedented
results including over 15,000 hires in 2019.
