Honored for Disaster Relief Efforts
When
disaster struck several states in 2017, Comcast
NBCUniversal’s HR team provided
tremendous relief support by establishing a special
emergency relief benefit plan, launching a dedicated
disaster relief hub and organizing a companywide
voluntary support program, Operation Teammate.
CTHRA named the group 2018 Team Innovator of the
Year.

BMLI is recognized by the industry as the premier
leadership development program for executive women

WICT
named Italia Commisso Weinand,
EVP of Programming and Human Resources for Mediacom
Communications, as its 2018 Woman of
the Year. Woman of the Year is WICT’s highest
individual accolade bestowed on individuals who
embody WICT’s mission to develop women leaders
who transform the industry. Italia has more than
40 years of experience in the industry. She presently
serves on the board of The Cable Center,
the Emma Bowen Foundation and
the CTAM Educational Foundation.
