C2HR Invites Industry Compensation Specialists to Shape 2020 Salary Surveys
NAPERVILLE, ILL., November 26, 2019 — In today’s tight labor market, compensation can make or break an employer’s ability to recruit and retain talent. Armed with industry-specific benchmarks, companies are able to determine if their pay practices are competitive. For 25 years, one industry association has steadfastly tracked compensation practices for connectivity providers and content developers: Content & Connectivity Human Resources (C2HR, formerly CTHRA). C2HR invites compensation specialists from across the industry to help shape the 2020 Compensation Surveys by participating in a planning session in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Compensation specialists from content developers (cable programmers, broadcast networks and digital content developers) will gather on December 11, while connectivity providers (cable MSOs, satellite providers and others) will meet on December 12. Charter Communications will host the meetings which will be facilitated by The Croner Company, a leading consulting firm specializing in compensation plan design. Participants will identify job categories and titles to add to or remove from the survey, shape questions concerning amenities and highlight nuances regarding incentives. To register to attend or request more information about C2HR’s Compensation Surveys, please contact Laurie Krashanoff at laurie@croner.biz or 415.485.5521.
To ensure confidentiality, the survey results from any given company cannot be seen, and only summary information pertaining to all survey participants is available. In addition, The Croner Company confirms in writing and orally that there is no discussion of actual pay levels at the planning meetings. This reporting approach complies with Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regulation and encourages participation without fear of exposing proprietary information.
